Virat Kohli’s Instagram account reappears after brief disappearance; fans breathe a sigh of relief

Indian cricketer Virat Kohli’s Instagram account disappeared temporarily on Friday morning, leaving his 274 million followers in a state of confusion and panic. However, the clamour soon calmed down when people realised that Virat’s page was visible again.

Kohli, one of the most popular celebrities on the platform, saw his verified profile inaccessible early on Friday, prompting fans to speculate whether the disappearance was a technical glitch or a deliberate deactivation. As followers struggled to find the account, many rushed to the Instagram page of his wife, actor Anushka Sharma, asking for answers, with comments such as “Bhabhi, bhaiya ka phone kahan hai (Sister-in-law, where is our brother)?”

However, the account reappeared on the platform later in the morning without any explanation from Kohli, his team or Instagram.
Once the account returned, fans rejoiced under Kohli’s latest post with comments like “King is back” and “Finally aa gaya bhai”.
